Fall Concert Series
This concert series will feature guest musician John Fawcett,
Violin Soloist.
The Central Oregon Symphony opens Jonathan Moore’s inaugural season as Music Director with a program featuring Bend native violinist John Fawcett. Recently appointed Concertmaster of the Boise Philharmonic, Fawcett returns home to perform Bruch’s soaring Violin Concerto No. 1. The program also includes Bernstein’s sparkling Overture to Candide and Beethoven’s beloved Symphony No. 6 (“Pastoral”), a musical journey through the countryside, complete with birdsong, a thunderstorm, and a joyful conclusion.
