The 2010 COSA Young Artist Competition
The Central Oregon Symphony is pleased to announce the 2010 Young Artist Competition. Winners will receive monetary awards and may be invited to perform with the Central Oregon Symphony during the 2010-2011 Season.
Winners of the 2009 COSA Young Artist Competition, who performed in concert with the Central Oregon Symphony in February 2010, are not eligible to participate in the 2010 competition on the same instrument.
The competition will take place:
Saturday June 5th, 2010 – 2:00 pm
Wille Recital Hall in the Campus Center on NW College Way
Central Oregon Community College, Bend, OR.
Competition Divisions: (student’s grade during 2009-2010 school year)
Junior: students in 8th grade or younger
Senior: students in 9th through 12th grades
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
Junior: first prize -- $150, second prize -- $75
Senior: first prize -- $250, second prize -- $125
Completed application and registration fee must be received no later than:
