Ushers: Ushers arrive early to the concert of their choice and are able to choose their seats prior to the doors opening for the concert. Ushers hand out programs and/or collect tickets. Ushers may be asked to help at intermission by standing near a refreshment table as a “host”.
Rehearsal Refreshment Volunteers: A volunteer or volunteer team provides a meal for the musicians at the rehearsals (50-70 people, typically Sunday or Monday evening). You can stay or drop off the food and the COSA representative will serve it. COSA will reimburse up to $150 of your costs and give you a tax receipt for anything over that. COSA will provide utensils, napkins, tablecloths, etc. & beverages and a COSA representative will always be present to help at the rehearsals.
Intermission Set Up Volunteers: Help set up the commons area by setting out tablecloths, cookies, coffee and such for concert intermission. Intermission set up volunteers are able to choose their seats prior to the doors opening for the concerts. They are done with set up typically before the doors open for the concert.
COSA 50th Anniversary Committees: Volunteers will be able to choose any committee they are interested in working with. Committees include: History committee, Documentary committee, Beethoven’s 5th 5K Run committee, Special Events/Concerts committee, Publicity committee, Finance committee and more.
