Concerts
With the generous support of our donors, sponsors, and advertisers, the symphony brings three season concerts per year and is able to provide complimentary tickets to the public.
Music in Public Places
Concerts are performed by small groups of symphony musicians throughout the year in unique public venues, and are also free to attend.
Young Artists Competition
Provides young symphonic musicians the opportunity to compete for the chance to perform solo with the Central Oregon Symphony. More about our judges can be found here by clicking here.

Virginia Riggs Children’s Concert
This fun, informal, and free concert was created just for kids of all ages to inspire an interest in classical music and in learning to play a symphony instrument.
Symphony Stars!
Musicians from the symphony will visit seven local public elementary schools two times this year. They will introduce students to the instruments of the orchestra and give insight into the life of a musician. The musicians will also touch upon concert etiquette and answer questions. Students will be specially invited by their COS Musician in residence to participate in the Virginia Riggs Children’s Concert. If your school is interested in participating in Symphony Stars! encourage your teacher to fill out an application form. The applications are available online by clicking here.
