Music In Public Places Season in 2012-2013

Central Oregon Symphony Association has adopted a new chamber music performance series for the 2012-2013 season. For more than seventeen years, COSA has been bringing outstanding quality performances to communities and schools in Central Oregon. The Chamber Music Concert Series will be a set of six concerts. It will be comprised of four Music In Public Places events and two Members only (contributing donors to COSA) performances.

Over the month of March 2012, Cassie Walling, COSA Executive Director, and Wendy Bloom, Music In Public Places Committee Chair, will be planning the upcoming season. All MIPP concerts will be performed on Sundays at 1:00pm and 4:00pm. We will be asking musicians to commit to dates and pieces to be performed. We will also be securing performance locations so that we can market the Chamber Music Series in its entirety.

We have two of next season’s MIPP performances in final planning stages and there are two that have yet to be determined. If you are interested in performing on a MIPP, please fill out the MIPP Request form located at http://www.cosymphony.com/MC/MippRequest.htm. If you do not have a formal group, submit the form with your ideas, and we will work with you to get a group formed and help select pieces.
